There's an alien next door. And with his looming height and eerie green eyes, he's hot until he opens his mouth. He's infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. If I don’t kill him first, that is.
Onyx
Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro alien connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems. I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?

The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.
Origin

Trust in Me (Wait for You #1.5) by J. Lynn

Trust in Me (Wait for You #1.5) by J. Lynn

Review: I totally thought that Wait for you the first book in the series could not have gotten any better than it already was, but I was wrong, so wrong. The story gets even sweeter told from Cams point of view, its so much more romantic because you finally get to read about how Cam falls Avery and the things he thinks about to make Avery trust in him. I'm pretty sure I cried a couple of time while reading the book because of how adorable Cam was and about a lot of the things he said when Avery wasn't in ear shot of him. The last thing I have to say about this book is that it does not disappoint!

Foreplay (The Ivy Chronicles #1) by Sophie Jordan

Foreplay (The Ivy Chronicles #1) by Sophie Jordan

Review: Not what I was expecting from Sophie Jordan, but it was still a good read. the book does have its faults, like boring names for the main characters, but it doesn't stop you from falling in love with Reece the bartender. He was the best character in the whole book because he could go from bad ass to kick ass with a snap of your fingers.I just loved how awesome he was and dreamy. The over all plot was ok but nothing to great, but there is lots of hope for the next in the series.

Cress (The Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer

Cress (The Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer

Review: The Lunar Chronicles series gets better and better as the books progress. Cress so far is the best book out of the series and while reading it the plot and the characters actually seem to be getting somewhere finally. Even as the books keeping introducing new characters and going in to more depth with old characters, you are still able to put together the pieces of the story time line and what might happen in the next and final book in the series "Winter" which will be coming out next year hopefully. But this book in the series adds more action and a little more romance then readers are used to seeing in the series, but it just add to the Marissa Meyer's brilliance at writing.

Remy (Real #3) by Katy Evans

Remy (Real #3) by Katy Evans

Review: WOW, just WOW. Didn't think that Katy Evans could write anything hotter or jaw dropping than the first two books in he series but I was wrong. Remy is told from the point of view from Remy ( if you couldn't figure that out from the title), and its his view on their present day lives and goes back to how he saw and thought through the first two books in the series. This way readers wouldn't just be reading the first book again, but experiencing Brook and Remy's lives together in a whole new way, that still has readers smiling and crying in the end.

Summary: Underground fighter Remington Tate is a mystery, even to himself. His mind is dark and light, complex and enlightening. At times his actions and moods are carefully measured, and at others, they spin out of control.

Through it all, there’s been one constant: wanting, needing, loving, and protecting Brooke Dumas. This is his story; from the first moment he laid eyes on her and knew, without a doubt, she would be the realest thing he’s ever had to fight for.

Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi

Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi
Review: All three of these books in the Shatter Me series are insane and intense! Ignite Me, does not disappoint or let down anyone's expectations of the finale book in the series. The author Tahereh Mafi, does an amazing job changing the plot and the characters of the story without damaging them to the readers. I cant even begin to express how amazing this book was. But I'll try my hardest. Juliette becomes confident and empowered in this book and she finally starts to fight back and for herself. The book sends strong messages about fighting for what you believe in and sticking with your friends. It also has Juliette choosing for herself between Adam and Aaron, and getting control over all of her powers and finally having physical contact.

Heart of Stone (Gargoyles #1) by Christine Warren

Heart of Stone (Gargoyles #1) by Christine Warren

Review: Not the best book Christine Warren has written and kind of a let down after reading her "Other" series, but the plot is still interesting and the set up for the next book looks promising. The characters were fun to read about but didn't show much depth to them as the story went on. The book was a quick short read and fun for passing the time with.

Be with Me (Wait for You #2) by J. Lynn, Jennifer L. Armentrout

Be with Me (Wait for You #2) by J. Lynn, Jennifer L. Armentrout

Review: Great follow up book to " Wait for You", and good character depth. It was great to see Cam and Avery again and to see what they were up to. But with Jase and Teresa it was great to see their relationship and how it progresses. The only downfall top the book was Jase's indecisiveness when it came to Teresa and them together, it felt to flippy floppy. But by the end of the book everything was worked out and had a great ending.

Losing Hope (Hopeless #2) by Colleen Hoover

Review: Reading from Dean's point of view and how he had to live his life after losing Hope and his sister is an amazing thing to read, I have never read something that almost seems that life is so hopeless till this book. When reading the same first book over again from the guys perspective most of the times seems boring and normally you just skim though it. This was not the case, you have to pay attention to every single detail to understand how Holder feels when going through what he went through. In this book all the characters were given even more depth than before and made the plot better too.

3 out of 5 stars.
321 pages.
New Adult. Mature Themes and Content.

Summary: In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.

Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs.

The Rising (Darkness Rising #3) by Kelley Armstrong

The Rising (Darkness Rising #3) by Kelley Armstrong

Review: I have never been so happy for a series to finally be over. The plot for this story started to really drag in the second book but in the final one it picks up and takes off again. The characters have a lot more depth to them then we originally get to see and new characters are added to the mix and leave you questioning for more after you meet them. Even thought the book is the last in the series, it leaves room to branch out into another series of books if the author choose to.

Echo (The Soul Seekers #2) by Alyson Noel

Echo (The Soul Seekers #2) by Alyson Noel

Review: It seems that Alyson Noel likes to repeat her story plots in her book series. Boy and girl fall in love = first book. Boy and girl cant be together= second book. I really enjoyed the first book in The Soul Seekers series but it seems that the story just likes to go down hill in the second book. I have higher hopes for the third and fourth book in this series and cant wait to read them but at the same time praying that they are not as lacking as this book was.

Thoughtless (Thoughtless #1) by S.C. Stephens

Thoughtless (Thoughtless #1) by S.C. Stephens

Review: I had really high hopes for this book, but I was a little disappointed. Not to say that the plot and character were not interesting, it was just the main character Kiera that I could not stand to read. But I just loved Kellen like crazy, and felt awful for him throughout the book. Though I am looking forward to reading more about them in the next book and to see how their life is working out.

Reason to Breathe (Breathing #1) by Rebecca Donovan

Reason to Breathe (Breathing #1) by Rebecca Donovan

Review: This is a new adult book, and there are some harsh themes in it, so be warned. This is a beautifully written book about a girl who has an awful life and is so strong, I could hardly read this because it so sad. It makes you want to protect Emma and save her, and by the end of this book it leaves you gasping for more.

3 out of 5 stars.

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

Review: Well Holly Black still has it. Anything and everything she writes makes you think how in the world did she come up with such a twisted view on this subject. She did it with magic, fayes, and now Vampires. I was blown away by how good this book is, I mean wow. Falling in love, vampires, killing, and crazy vampires???!!! Whole new way of life and thinking after reading this book, I think Black could convince us readers of anything, if she really wanted to.

5 out of 5 stars.
Young Adult.

Need (Need #1) by Carrie Jones, Julia Whelan (Narrator)

Need (Need #1) by Carrie Jones, Julia Whelan (Narrator)

Review: This was a cool audiobook to listen to in the fall weather while driving to school everyday. Kind of like a lot of other story plots but still has a pretty cool twist toward the end and a very kick ass grandma too. the main character Zara has a interesting cork too. Its makes you think about the book cover to figure out what's going to happen later in the series, I can't wait to read more.

3 out of 5 stars.
Audio Book.
Young Adult.

Summary: Zara White suspects there's a freaky guy semi-stalking her. She's also obsessed with phobias. And it's true, she hasn't exactly been herself since her stepfather died. But exiling her to shivery Maine to live with her grandmother? That seems a bit extreme. The move is supposed to help her stay sane . . . but Zara's pretty sure her mom just can't deal with her right now. She couldn't be more wrong. Turns out the semi-stalker is not a figment of Zara's overactive imagination. In fact, he's still following her, leaving behind an eerie trail of gold dust. There's something not right? not human? In this sleepy Maine town, and all signs point to Zara. In this creepy, compelling breakout novel, Carrie Jones delivers romance, suspense, and a creature you never thought you'd have to fear.

Kissing Shakespeare by Pamela Mingle

Kissing Shakespeare by Pamela Mingle

Review: Sounds a lot better than it really is, trust me. But the book still has some good kissing sense's, but still in the end no real happy ending or any possible continuing or the story into a second book.

Young Adult.

Summary: Miranda has Shakespeare in her blood: she hopes one day to become a Shakespearean actor like her famous parents. At least, she does until her disastrous performance in her school's staging of The Taming of the Shrew. Humiliated, Miranda skips the opening-night party. All she wants to do is hide.

Fellow cast member, Stephen Langford, has other plans for Miranda. When he steps out of the backstage shadows and asks if she'd like to meet Shakespeare, Miranda thinks he's a total nutcase. But before she can object, Stephen whisks her back to 16th century England—the world Stephen's really from. He wants Miranda to use her acting talents and modern-day charms on the young Will Shakespeare. Without her help, Stephen claims, the world will lost its greatest playwright.

Miranda isn't convinced she's the girl for the job. Why would Shakespeare care about her? And just who is this infuriating time traveler, Stephen Langford? Reluctantly, she agrees to help, knowing that it's her only chance of getting back to the present and her "real" life. What Miranda doesn't bargain for is finding true love . . . with no acting required.

Earthbound (Earthbound #1) by Aprilynne Pike

Earthbound (Earthbound #1) by Aprilynne Pike

Review: I have never read anything by Aprilynne Pike before but I have heard she writes great books. But for this series I could not see it. The main character Tavia was lacking I feel and so was the love triangle. The story plot was really good along with the book cover and the magic. I'm hopeful and looking forward to the next book.

2 out of 5 stars.
Young Adult.

Summary: Tavia Michaels is the sole survivor of the plane crash that killed her parents. When she starts to see strange visions of a boy she’s never spoken with in real life, she begins to suspect that there’s much about her past that she isn’t being told.

Tavia immediately searches for answers, desperate to determine why she feels so drawn to a boy she hardly knows. But when Tavia discovers that the aunt and uncle who took her in after her parents' death may have actually been responsible for the plane crash that killed them--and that she may have been the true intended victim--she flees for the safety of Camden, Maine, where the boy she sees in her visions instructs her to go.

Now, Tavia is on the run with no one to trust. No one, that is, except for her best friend and longtime crush, Benson.

Tavia feels torn between the boy who mysteriously comes to her at night and the boy who has been by her side every step of the way. But what Tavia doesn't know is that the world is literally falling apart and that to save it she will have to unite with the boy in her visions. Only problem? To do so would mean rejecting Benson's love. And that's the one thing Tavia Michaels swore she'd never do.

Allegiant (Divergent #3) by Veronica Roth

Allegiant (Divergent #3) by Veronica Roth

Review: I know you have all been waiting for this review all week long, so here it is.
The final book in the divergent series DOES NOT DISAPOINT.
But yes, the conclusion as some of you might have heard of does have a *SPOILER* character death of the main cast in the end.But how Veronica Roth does it, readers can accept it when they are done crying and morning. It may be hard but it can be accepted and its understandable why the author killed that character. Also the plot does have a really good twist about the outside "World" and about Tris's mother and family, that you would not have thought of. Tris and Tobias relationship gets challenged and FINALLY progresses( but only that part is open for any interpretation). Overall the book was / is a beautiful send off for the characters.

5 out of 5 stars.
Young Adult.

Summary: One choice will define you.

What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.

Broken by C.J. Lyons

Broken by C.J. Lyons

Review: Could not put the book down, it had a great plot and twist that you don't see coming. The only part about the book and characters that wasn't great was how obeying scarlet was to her stepmom. The author did a good job explaining all the medical stuff in the book and how everything worked.

4 out of 5 stars.

Racing Savannah (Hundred Oaks #4) by Miranda Kenneally

Racing Savannah (Hundred Oaks #4) by Miranda Kenneally

Review: You do not need to read the other 3 books before this one, because they are not in the plot as far as I could tell. A great inspirational book and characters about fighting and going after what you love and want to do with you life. It was also great to see the characters go after what she thought she might never get a chance at. Also the author did an amazing job with the main character Savannah, and how girls/women deserve to be treated with respect and sometime someone better.

5 out of 5 stars.
New Adult.

Summary: They’re from two different worlds.

He lives in the estate house, and she spends most of her time in the stables helping her father train horses. In fact, Savannah has always been much more comfortable around horses than boys. With her dream of becoming a horse jockey, Savannah isn’t exactly one to follow the rules either. She’s not going to let someone tell her a girl isn’t tough enough to race. Sure, it’s dangerous. Then again, so is dating Jack…

Gated by Amy Christine Parker

Gated by Amy Christine Parker

Review: Has a great plot line that you don't see that often, a cult. The book was very interesting from the main character Lyla point of view, because of the many things she had to deal with, while being in the cult. The only problem with the book is that there is so much extra detail add that at times is boring and hard to read past it to get to the good parts of the book.

2 out of 5 stars.
Young Adult.

If I Stay (If I Stay #1) by Gayle Forman

If I Stay (If I Stay #1) by Gayle Forman

Review: This book blew me away within the first ten pages. I have never been so moved that fast in a book before. The main character, Mia, has a normal life and within a second its all gone. It hard to separate yourself from the book because what happened to Mia could happen to anyone even yourself. I know I have thought about what I would do in her situation and it still makes me cry thinking about it. This book is very inspirational and moving, just have a box of tissues with you when you read it.

Summary: In a single moment, everything changes. Seventeen-year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall riding along the snow-wet Oregon road with her family. Then, in a blink, she finds herself watching as her own damaged body is taken from the wreck...

Mine (Real #2) by Katy Evans

Mine (Real #2) by Katy Evans

Review: Ok after the first book REAL, I felt like I was on crack and couldn't wait to get my next fix of Remy and Brook. This was an amazing second book to the Real series, it was just as intense, heart throbbing, sweet, and sexy as the first one. I still cant get over Remy, I wish he was mine, darn it! In this book it was like everything got better, the plot, the characters, the relationships, and the sex! I just mean WOW Katy Evens just out did herself. It was also great that Brook expressed herself more and finally took and did what she wanted. The end of the book is the best part, many new and uncertain surprises. Can't wait to see what happens next with Remy and Brook!

Review: I have had this book sitting on my shelf for a couple of weeks, taunting me into reading it and not do my homework. Well it finally won, and I regret NOTHING! This book is one of the New Adult ones and it does not disappoint. It was great read and leaves you begging for more. The book also touches on some deeper things, such as bipolar disorder and how it effects people and their lives. Also talks of cleaning living and of sports therapy, which is quite interesting.

If only I knew for sure what it is that he wants from me?

Review: This book has a great plot line and gets you caught in its story right away. But there are still some problems with it that takes away from enjoying the book. Like characters just meeting but already knowing some facts about each other, the characters are very emotional and change their mind a lot. And lastly some of the characters were there, then were just gone without conflict happening to explain why. Despite all this the book still had me stringing along after it to see what happened next.

Thor The Dark World- Movie Review

Thor The Dark world

Movie Review: Ok, I think we all know what each other is thinking when we think of this movie...OKI! The movie was also way greater than the first one. I mean the characters were more developed Cough*LOKI*Cough. The extra ending(s) were pretty great too. The only problems I had with it was Jane it seemed like she didn't really care about Thor as much in this movie especially in the sadder deeper moments that were hard for him. And I'm still holding out hope that Loki and Darcy will finally meet and fall madly in love and have lots of babies. But not in this movie it seems, but I really can't wait to see the next one!!!

Catching Fire ( Hunger Games 2)- Movie Review

Catching Fire ( Hunger Games 2)

Movie Review: It followed very close to the book and Finnick Odair did live up to the hype, but he did reveal something's that are not supposed to be said till the third movie. And a couple of other things were changed or not said, like there was to much Gale kissing, just saying. But the one cast change was ok because it was Buttercup and he finally got his one scene. The thing that did bug me was Katniss's facial expressions when the poop hit the fan and even in the funny moments. It felt like she wasn't understanding what was happening and how she should act. ( SPOLIER) I was really looking forward to the "and the baby" part in the movie, but they really didn't talk about it or her losing it in the games. And yes I do known that the baby was made up to help them, I just like to believe Peeta when he talks about it. Enough of me ranting, I'll get to the part your all wondering about....( SPOILER) the mouth to mouth with Peeta and Finnick, and yes it was as good as it was in the book. Your all welcome.
